About DIY Life Zine

This is a zine about doing things independently of experts, professionals, institutions, corporations, and similar things.  A zine about taking our lives, and our communities, into our own hands.

————————————————————

Topics that have been covered in DIY Life Zine, and most likely will be covered again in future issues: Unschooling, reducing consumption, self-defence, safe computer usage for radicals,  barefoot living, poetry, artwork.

Topics that have yet to be covered, but may be in future issues (perhaps you want to write about them?): skill sharing, community classes, educational co-ops, attachment/natural parenting, unconditional parenting, herbal medicine, wild medicinals, nutrition, first aid, gardening, food preservation, foraging, non-toxic and homemade household products, re-purposing projects, cooking and recipes,  community organizing, collectives, cooperatives, non-violent communication, peer counseling, autonomous living, intentional communities, travel, DIY projects or crafting projects of any sort (building a kiln, soap making, jewelry making, bow and arrow making, whatever you enjoy doing!).  Keep in mind that these are just suggestions.  There are SO MANY things you could contribute!  If you have any questions, contact me, Idzie, at open.eyed.slave@gmail.com

  1. Love your new zine!
Could you add a recommend to others/share option so that I could easily send your site to others who might like it too?

    • I’m very glad you like it, and thanks for the suggestion! There’s now a “share” button at the top right of the sidebar.
